Using Juniper Innovations’ engine management solution for any on road car, truck, plant equipment, tarnsporters or HGVs you can improve driving behaviour, reduce fuel usage and lower vehicle mileage. Linked to Juniper Innovations’ GPS tracking hardware our secure web portal gives you live data feeds from all your vehicles.
This enables you to see heavy braking, excessive speeding, engine idling, journey stops and duration times per vehicle and per driver. With small additional modifications you can also see vehicle door opening, tail gate lifting, arm raising/lowering e.g. for mowers, digger arms, car transporters etc. All our engine management solutions link to our GPS software giving you complete visibility and control of your assets.
How does it work?
We connect our GPS hardware and engine management technology to your vehicle. Combined with our intelligent GPS units accurate driving data is collect. Using our GPS software you can review accurate engine information via our secure web portal. On the web site you can setup details about your vehicle and driver such as mileage, our fuel usage calculator and alerts e.g. idling behaviour for a certain time period. This can show up on reports or be sent as text and email messages.
With this information you receive informed insights into each of your vehicle’s usage and driver behaviour. You can then better manage and control your team, how they operate and how to get the best from your assets whilst lowering costs. So for example you can encourage safer driving, reduce excessive acceleration and hard braking. There may be worthy cases for you to reward driving behaviour and encourage better overall team performance.
