What is Juniper Innovations’ job recording and allocation?
Juniper Innovations’ job recording and allocation software enables you to assign work tasks and job orders and capture job recording information, from your mobile workforce.
When job information is received from your order systems, use Juniper Innovation software to assign jobs to workers in real time. The system can:
- Integrate with your existing order management, ERP, distribution, finance or other systems
- Send jobs to your mobile workforce connected to mobile phones, PDAs, laptops and other mobile data capture devices helping your mobile workforce to communicate freely
- Enable mobile devices to be updated with completed job records, signatures, consumed material and timesheet information, GPS tracking data, job photos and other related information you require
How does it work?
Using Juniper Innovations’ job recording software is a SaaS (software as a service) solution hosted by Juniper Innovations. If you require instead you can host it locally.
Juniper Innovations can quickly integrate your order information to the software and amend both website data fields and mobile device data capture screens around your needs.
Order information in the website then be sent to mobile workers data capture devices such as mobile phones, tablet PCs or laptops. The type of work typically controlled by the system is:
- Collecting timesheet information from mobile and field workers
- Proof of delivery or proof of collection forms
- Job assignment information being sent to delivery drivers with job completion and delivery confirmation signatures being returned
- Maintenance worker job details e.g. to fix mechanical equipment or building repairs
- Health and safety audit information
- Inventory checking at retail stores, office buildings, construction sites or warehouses
Our software and deployment can be device independent and downloaded centrally. In other words mobile users with Blackberry, Windows mobile, Android and Symbian devices for example can all use the same software. Plus the software can be downloaded centrally to phones when required so no need for devices to be collected and for software to be installed.
Using Juniper Innovations’ lone worker and GPS tracking products the most appropriate team member and asset can be located and then be assigned work. With Juniper Innovations’ satellite navigation products your mobile workforce can also be directed to the right work location.
The mobile worker will be able to update job information, add notes, communicate questions and issues with the central office and transmit completion details back to the office in real time.
Real time communication will allow your office based and management teams to manage schedules and update operational teams, customers and third parties quickly and effectively.
