Juniper innovations mobile worker trackingHow does it work?

Juniper Innovations’panic buttons improve driver safety and security, giving your drivers peace of mind and your organisation greater control in the event of a high risk situation.  Our panic button solution is discretely used by drivers either as a hard wired solution in their vehicle, or as remote solutions they carry about.

Hard wired solutions are connected to our intelligent GPS tracking units.  By pressing the panic button data is sent via the GPS unit across our secure networkA web alert, text message and email alarms are raised to preconfigured numbers and email addresses.  This enables call handlers to communicate with the lone worker, track them via our secure web portal and request immediate assistance if required.

The fitted or portable GPS device is also then GPS tracked every 5 seconds i.e. so the lone worker’s position can be viewed extremely accurately on our secure web portal.

What are the benefits of Juniper Innovations’ panic buttons?

Real time alerts

In addition to the lone worker using the device set off alerts, it is easy to pre-configure geo-fence alerts for more security and protection.  For example if the lone worker moves out of an agreed area, moves into an identified at risk zone or moves into postcode or other areas outside agreed hours.  In these cases text messages and email alerts will be sent requesting help for the lone worker without the lone worker pressing any button on the device.  Similarly alerts can be sent if the device is turned off for added protection.

Turning the device on and off also helps record timesheet information automatically.  So you are aware and have an audit trail of the hours and locations of your lone workers.

Simple management

Our hardware can be set up in seconds and quickly preconfigured via our secure web portal.  This makes device management easy for you.

Detailed journey information

Our website views via our secure web portal give incredibly detailed information in map and virtual world formats.  Thus giving you control at all times.
