What are Juniper Innovations’ portable tracking units?
Juniper Innovations’ portable tracking units are high quality GPS devices that allow you to track vehicles, people, machinery, pallets, boxes and other assets and equipment easily for one off journeys. Or where you do not want to fasten a tracking device permanently to an asset. Combined with Juniper Innovations’ GPS tracking software you have a simple way to know your assets are being tracked, where they have been, or be alerted if they move into or out of territories.
How does it work?
Juniper Innovations’ portable tracking units work with our GPS tracking software. The portable units can be placed or securely fastened to your vehicles, assets, products or shipments. This includes being put inside sealed boxes or a car’s glove compartment. Vibration triggers the battery operated device into action enabling movement to be GPS tracked. From there you get all the benefits of our GPS tracking software. For example where the has been, how long iot was there, whether it was in a restricted site or area, when it moved outside, whether it was moved inside or outside working hours, where it is now and much more! In fact you can be alerted in real time if an unexpected event happened either by text message or email.

As a one off job the portable unit is connected remotely to our secure web based server in a matter of seconds. This allows tracking to start.
