What is Juniper Innovations’ trailer tracking?
Track your trailers with a simple to use, cost effective solution.
Protect your assets and manage them at all times by installing a covert low powered tracking unit. Some of our units do not require a direct line of sight meaning they can be covertly installed where other tracking systems are unable. All our tracking units link to our GPS software giving you complete visibility and control of your assets.
How does it work?
The covert tracking unit is installed into your trailer. They are rugged, durable units that are simple to use. They can be connected through the vehicle’s cabling giving additional charging and power when a cab or tractor unit is connected. When the trailer is disconnected the device uses its own battery power.
Reporting data including location updates are transmitted back to our central servers. This is viewed on our GPS tracking system by logging into our secure portal. Email reports and alerts can also be set up sending you messages directly to your mobile phone, PDA or email Inbox.
The trailer tracking solution provides you with access to the tracking web portal giving:
- Location reports
- Movement information
- Journey details
We also provide asset tracking solutions that are portable, wire free, durable and extremely reliable if you needed alternative tracking options.
What do you get?

The operating time length when discharged from the cab or trailer unit is subject to how the unit is configured to report. We are able to customise the reporting leve
l in order to extend the life of the battery when the trailer is disconnected. On a standalone trailer up to 3 years worth of data can be reported. Furthermore some of our solutions do not require a direct line of sight with satellites i.e. they can be installed and function where other GPS systems cannot.

Establishing the best solution

This will be based on how you intend to operate and how to get the best from our products. Our experienced technicians will help with the installation process where required and we’ll also train you on using the hardware as well as using the web portal for tracking information.
