Wireless tracking, also known as real time location systems help protect, locate and manage people, stock and assets using existing Wi-fi networks.

How does wireless tracking work?
Juniper Innovations’ wirless tracking or real time location system (RTLS) is a Wi-Fi-based location tracking solution that can operate over any brand or generation of Wi-Fi network while offering room, floor, building and multiple building level accuracy.
Being software based our solution requires no readers, new cabling, choke-points or exciters. Software-based algorithms are used to work out the location of tracked people, stock and assets and can easily scale to support tens of thousands of tags on a single server. With Juniper Innovations your solution can be up and running in a matter of days or a few weeks.

What do you get with wireless tracking?
The components of Juniper Innovations’ wireless tracking (RTLS) system are:
- Wireless tags that come in a variety of formats including personnel and wristband tags, temperature tags and asset tags
- Database and server software managed as SaaS (software as a service) or installed locally, that stores algorithms, business rules, tag management, the communications manager and many more functions
- User interface software to create the business logic via a series of configuration menus, create reports and report templates. It also allows you to create and manage alarms, events, messages, pop-ups and other events that can be displayed, stored, reported or escalated. Detailed map views to buildings, floors and rooms, with a real-time asset and people locations, are also visible
- Batteries for tags that can last up to 6 years

- Tags are very unlikely to cause a network bottleneck e.g. 1000 tags transmitting simultaneuosly sends less data than firing up a browser from a laptop
- Networks can be included or excluded in the software
- You can use your existing Wi-Fi network that will save you time and money and the inconvenience involved in installing another system
